Hi. I am visiting May 18-26th. I would like to know information on where to go for Argentine Tango as well as the Latin dance spots. I’d appreciate your help! Lisalita
Thank you for contacting us. I will send you my email from last weekend. Unfortunately the Nawiliwili Yacht Club dance which was to be held on the 18th is canceled. I don’t know of any other latin events during the time that you will be here. The dancing at Rob’s on Tuesdays and Thursdays is mostly swing, niteclub 2-step, cha cha, hustle …… with a token salsa thrown in. We do have a tango group on the island and the email is included in mine. Thanks for your interest. I hope you are able to join us for one of these events.

Last year we went to Oahu and for those who are headed there – consider getting the weekly dance update from Mary Beth H. who provides a multi-page word document that is packed with dancing information in and around Honolulu – she’s at mbvh – at – hotmail.com.

Is the “Hot Latin Nights” a 21+ event? I’ll be visiting Kauai from 6/25 – 7/5 and would love to attend this but I’m only 20
I dance only Latin dances – salsa, bachata, merengue, cha-cha…. Is there any place to dance salsa on Kauai the evenings of January 7 – 10, 2011 (Fri/Sat/Sun/Mon)??? Thank you! – David-

Unfortunately the only latin night I know of is the first Saturday of each month. That would be the 1st next month. It’s possible that they may move it to the 8th. I’ll try to find out. But, in case I don’t (leaving today for CA), call the Aloha Beach Resort when you arrive and ask. Thanks for your interest.
